Alpha Guide's evaluation

A three-storey neoclassical building on the coast road, at the edge of Gialos. It used to be the house of Genimmatas family and is one of the finest mansions of the island. Polished wooden floors, stylish 19th-century furniture and pots with orchids. The rooms are spacious, with old iron beds and boiseries. Room B4, with the balcony and the breathtaking views, is the best. For ultimate privacy you should prefer the rooms on the third floor: they are slightly smaller, but overlook the courtyard with the jasmines. Fishing boats tie up next to “Aliki”, but the water is clean and you can dive from the steps.
