A cozy, rustic dining hall on the way to the Monastery of Proussos. Ms. Antigoni, the most acclaimed cook of Evritania, holds the reins in the kitchen (the tavern that bears her name in Krikelo is now operated by her son), and her daughter Dora is receiving the customers. Delicious pies and mouthwatering, masterly cooked stews and casseroles. Try the rooster in wine, the veal wraps, the boiled goat, and, for a sweet finale, the homemade “galaktoboureko” – filo pastry with custard cream filling.
