It opened in the summer of 2014 at an off-the-beaten-track place in Mesada, outside Marpissa, where the famous restaurant “Thea” opened many years ago. An atmospheric setting with lovely views – come before it gets dark. Traditional dishes of the cuisine of Naples, cooked with passion and fine ingredients by chef Massimiliano Ruoco. Choice delis (delicious burrata, served with anchovies and cherry tomatoes), spaghetti alle vongole, daily specials (we tried a tasty ragout that slowly roasts for hours and is served with fusilli from Italy, and fried fish with garlic, cherry tomatoes and parsley) and fried pizza. Don’t forget to visit the traditional house under the restaurant that showcases the local architecture and tradition (something like a small museum). During the winter months you should call in advance.
