Alpha Guide's evaluation
The art hotel of the Tsimaras family in a wonderful small house designed by Ziller, in which the Stathatos Naval School used to be housed. An original “ensemble” that combines modern design with tradition and ethnic elements. Milk-white common areas decorated with works of art. Amazing verandas with Moroccan lamps, 19th-century kilims from Iraq and Iran, rattan armchairs and wonderful Belle Epoque loungers. Modern chairs/lamps by Tom Dickinson. Beautiful, somewhat small rooms with small bathrooms, painted in bright colors. Prefer those that open onto a terrace. The rooms in the new building, above the swimming pool, are larger, with minimalist geometric patterns in shades of white and gray and with clearly better bathrooms.
