Alpha Guide's evaluation
A stone-built lodging with a tiled roof, set in a magical landscape made of the legendary river’s purling water, plane trees and fresh air, ideal for nature lovers. Four buildings with large rooms (doubles and triples with good-sized bathrooms and very simple but adequate furnishings with no decorative pretensions). Buffet Greek breakfast with local products and homemade delicacies (pies, jams) plus the classic stuff. They organize rafting, river trekking and excursions to Souli, the Castle of Kiafa and Kougi. Next to the hotel and onto the riverbank, beneath the towering trees, there is the hotel’s taverna that first opened in 1993 and serves trout, barbecued meats, salads, and spreads.
