Alpha Guide's evaluation
The young-feeling hotel behind the Alcazar is housed in a restored building of the 1920s. It sports marble floors and large bathrooms, an arty mood and vivid colors. It is friendly, fancy and low-budget, and attracts mostly young cosmopolites. The two suites on the 4th floor with the large balconies that overlook the Hamza Bey Mosque are the most privileged ones. The Greek breakfast is served on the ground floor, in a room with retro references to the ’50s and the ’60s and pastel colors.
