The Alpha Guide review

This tavern’s menu is an anthology of the Cretan cuisine. Since 1996, Panayiotis and Yiorgos Chatzimanolakis have been researching the great gastronomic tradition of Crete. Along with their mother, Eftychia Hatzimanolakis, they prepare authentic Cretan dishes. They use raw materials exclusively from Crete – always depending on the season – and many ingredients they produce themselves (groats, “apaki” cured pork, olives, smoked meats).
