Alpha Guide's evaluation

The epitome of Cycladic chic, strictly for... retreatants. The detached stone houses are set in a peaceful valley with crops, a creek and plane trees, in the most picturesque beach of the island, where you get only by taking a dirt road (10 km.) or by boat. They are built with natural materials (stone, wood, reeds from the nearby river) and feature minimalist furniture in shades of the Mediterranean, built-in beds and bathrooms. They have a fireplace, kitchen, mini hi-fi, DVD player and wonderful courtyards with shady pergolas and hammocks. Each house is unique (for 2 to 5 people). A great authentic yurt from Mongolia hosts yoga and reflexology sessions, etc. The kitchen puts emphasis on green ingredients.
