The entire city of Mytilene is at your feet from the hanging terrace of the village’s old coffee shop, below the Church of the Archangels in Kayani. They will ask you if you prefer fish or meat and start to list the relevant mezes - in any case, taste is in abundance. The meatballs with ouzo and cumin are fluffy and savory and the tender octopus comes in a nice wine sauce. Try also the dried broad beans, the stuffed vine leaves and the chicken kebabs.
