This abandoned monastery dependency of 1763 that was restored and refurbished into a small hotel, the “Kapsaliana Village,” is a unique option for dining in the countryside and absolute tranquility. In summer, it serves on the terrace under the mulberry trees, and in the winter in its restored dining hall. Chef Vasilis Leonidou creates a modern cuisine with local products and Cretan touches.
