Alpha Guide's evaluation
A stone building, in the premises of “Katogi Averof” winery, at the edge of Metsovo. The first comprehensive accommodation suggestion in the context of wine tourism is a low-profile hotel that insists on quality details, whether they concern the building and the decoration or the service. Spacious common areas (lounge, restaurant, atmospheric wine bar). Comfortable rooms, very simply decorated, with emphasis on functional details and paintings by new Greek painters. The wooden pieces of furniture were designed exclusively for the hotel and manufactured by artisans in the village. The winery was also thoroughly renovated to become more impressive for the guests.
