Alpha Guide's evaluation
A city hotel in a three-storey neoclassical building that housed the cosmopolitan and deluxe “Modern” hotel from 1924 until 1960. The entrance arcade (there is the reception area), the marble staircase and the glass roof that illuminates the interior were maintained. The stucco decorations on the ceilings and the relief lintels with the room numbers were reconstructed. The stylish rooms (double glazed) share three floors, while four are on the housetop.
